There is always a reason for someone to do something, but in this story, any reason does not justify a son’s disobedience to his mother. This story also emphasizes something that can easily blind and destroy us, like wealth and love, if held too tightly without common sense.

This work is dedicated to 2 kids 2 children who have different traits, Bawang Putih has a kind nature, is not greedy, diligent and patient, while Bawang Merah has a trait that is far from garlic, she has a greedy nature, is lazy and always tells Bawang Putih to do all the housework.

I adapted this work from the film Jasmine, one of my favorite films. This film carries a very amazing discussion, makes me wonder about the greatness of a woman, and I often imagine myself experiencing this event. This work, I address to all of us, both women and men, to cultivate respect and tolerance. Because nowadays, the women’s movement is booming with various aims and objectives. One of them is not to be underestimated. I decided to carry this story with me hoping that anyone who reads it will feel a little fire burning in their hearts to continue to develop into the best version of themselves. Especially for the author, me.
