- Bachelor’s degree from Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta in 2000, majoring in English Education
- Master’s in English Linguistics from Sanata Dharma University, Yogyakarta in 2007
- PhD Candidate within Department of Modern Languages and Linguistics, Faculty of Humanities, University of Southampton
