Paul Kei Matsuda, PhD.

Paul Kei Matsuda is professor of English and the Director of Second Language Writing at Arizona State University. His main research interest is in second language writing, a transdisciplinary field of inquiry that integrates theoretical and methodological insights from both language studies and writing studies. His publications include Landmark Essays on ESL Writing (Lawrence Erlbaum Associate, 2001), Practicing Theory in Second Language Writing (Parlor, 2010),  World Englishes and the Teaching of Writing (TESOL Quarterly, 2010),  Handbook of Second and Foreign Language Writing (De Gruyter, 2016), Professionalizing Second Language Writing (Parlor, 2017), On the Disciplinary Identity of Second Language Writing (Journal of Second Language Writing, 2021).

Nur Arifah Drajati, MPd.

Dr. Arifah is a lecturer at Universitas Sebelas Maret. Her research interest is literacy, intercultural competence, technological pedagogical content knowledge, and informal digital learning of English. Her publications include Photovoice: Investigating English language teachers in developing TPACK and multimodal literacy (Indonesian Journal of Applied Linguistics, 2018), The teacher’s code-switching in ELT classrooms: Motives and functions (Routledge, 2018), English as an International Language Beyond the ELT Classroom (Oxford University Press, 2019), Affective variables and informal digital learning of English: Keys to willingness to communicate in a second language (Australasian Journal of Education Technology, 2019), and The Representation of Gender Stereotypes in Indonesian English Language Textbooks (Springer US, 2021).

Prof. MARCOS BENEVIDES

Marcos Benevides is an English Language Program Coordinator at J. F. Oberlin University in Tokyo, and president of Atama-ii Books. His interests include themed and meaning-based approaches to language teaching, particularly task-based language teaching and extensive reading. Puji Rahayu, PhD.

Puji Rahayu is a lecturer at Universitas Islam Indonesia. Her main interest is on the study of technology to support learning and the effect on the learning process within the learners’ brain. Firman Parlindungan is a lecturer at Universitas Teuku Umar. His research interest is in English learning and instruction, reading, literacy, identity, and language socialization.
